Christopher Loftin Vocal Workshop – Oddfellows Hall

Waterloo, IL – The Kaskaskia Trail Chorus would like to share a free vocal workshop opportunity with all singers (both male and female) in the area. Christopher Loftin is an experienced music educator, MS/HS choir director, and active guest clinician for both choral and barbershop programs. He is a member of the internationally renowned Ambassadors of Harmony as well as the Sounds of Harmony. The workshop will cover tone production, breath control, tuning of chords and the aspects of an authentic performance. Singers of all experience levels are welcome! Featuring the original work of over 100 accomplished artists from around the world, fantastic musical and stage performances as well as delicious local food and drink,  Art on the Square is a three-day sensation for the eyes, ears and palate! Children will enjoy Art on the Square’s extensive interactive   Children’s Art Garden where they will create their own take-away art projects. Millstadt Splash Pad Grand Opening – Millstadt Swimming Pool

Dog Yoga + Strawberry Picking – Eckert’s

Belleville, IL – Relax outdoors with your dog at our farm in Belleville. Fitness with Fido is hosting a 1 hour dog yoga class. Doga is a time to bond with your dog while you each get to focus on your balance, stretch and relax. After class pick out some strawberries, which are also a dog friendly snack! All-levels are welcomed! Please bring a yoga mat and water for you & your dog. Kids are welcomed to do doga as long as they are okay with being around well-behaved dogs or they can join with a corresponding kids’ yoga class specifically for ages 3-10. Tickets are $15 and include doga and strawberry picking. Kids 8 and under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket! 1 dog/person; no retractable leashes; friendly dogs only that are up to date on shots. Feather’s Farm: Summer Kick Off – Stubborn German

Waterloo, IL – Feather’s Farm is located just outside Waterloo and they have AMAZING, FRESH produce (and eggs)!  We thought it would be great to partner together and have them sell their produce inside the brewery. They will also have pre-made salads and baked goods you can purchase, and then you can enjoy a beer with them at the brewery! Keith and Betsy Jones from Feather’s Farm will be on hand to tell you all about their chemical-free, sustainable produce.  Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Global Brew Pet Fest & Pet Trivia – Global Brew Tap House

O’Fallon, IL – It’s a full day of fuzzy fun. Bring your pooch by to enjoy a dog spa complete with brush-out, nail trim, and ear cleaning. There is no cost, but donations are greatly appreciated. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase and all funds go to the Little Brother rescue in O’Fallon.
